Elon Musk has made light of the sexual assault accusations levelled against him after joking with YouTube’s co-founder about the scandal he has dubbed ‘Elongate’.
According to the Daily Mail, Musk and YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley are old friends from their time working together on PayPal.
Their social media conversation references specific details from claims of sexual misconduct made against the Tesla CEO.

Business Insider recently reported that a flight attendant for SpaceX was paid $250,000 to settle a sexual misconduct claim with Musk in 2018.
The attendant has accused Musk of exposing his erect penis to her, rubbing her leg without consent and offering to buy her a horse in exchange for an erotic massage.
The social media exchange was started by Hurley, who took to Twitter to say: "Hey, @elonmusk! Stop horsing around and close this Twitter deal. We all want a happy ending!"
Musk responded: "Hi Chad, long time no see! Fine, if you touch my weiner, you can have a horse."
The Tesla CEO, who is intending to buy Twitter at some point, refuted the allegations against him on the social media site. Tweeting in response to an account which expressed support for him, he said: "And, for the record, those wild accusations are utterly untrue."

He told Insider that the story was a ‘politically motivated hit piece’ when they contacted him for comment on the allegations.
Musk wrote: "If I were inclined to engage in sexual harassment, this is unlikely to be the first time in my entire 30-year career that it comes to light."
In a declaration signed by a friend, the flight attendant alleges that the SpaceX billionaire asked her to come to his room during a flight in 2016 for a ‘full body massage’ and when she arrived, she found Musk ‘completely naked except for a sheet covering the lower half of his body’.
The allegations made against Musk claim that during the massage, he ‘exposed his genitals’ and then ‘touched her and offered to buy her a horse if she would 'do more'’.

Insider has reported that the flight attendant claims her work began to dry up after she refused Musk’s advances and that she felt ‘she was being pushed out and punished for refusing to prostitute herself’.
According to the declaration, she told her friend that after getting the job with SpaceX she was encouraged to become licensed as a masseuse in order to give Musk massages.
SpaceX president Gwynne Shotwell said the company would ‘rigorously investigate all harassment or discrimination claims’.

Musk denies the claims against him, saying there was ‘a lot more to this story’.
