Eugene, 80-Years-Old, Has Built A Train For His Adopted Stray Dogs
Eugene Bostick, 80-years-old, lives in Fort Worth, Texas with his brother Corky. That is a picture of Eugene driving his dog train around which he uses to rescue strays. Yep. Legend.
Eugene and Corky have cared for wildlife around Fort Worth for a solid 30 years. They came up with the idea of the dog train after noticing a hotspot at the end of their road where people would abandon their dogs.
Since collecting strays they have now started using the train for family trips into town. Eugene has had a chat to the dodo and told them how the dogs “get so excited” about their weekly train rides. “They all come running and jump in on their own. They’re ready to go.”
“I’m 80 now, so I suppose it can’t last too much longer,” Eugene says, “but I’ll keep it going as long as I can.”
Good on ya Bostick family!
