First Ever Double Hand Transplant Kid Sends Touching Message To Doctors
An 8-year-old from Baltimore has made history by being the first ever child to receive a double-hand transplant.
Zion Harvey lost his hands to gangrene when he was two, but thanks to a team of 40 medical staff at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia he now has a new pair.
At an emotional news conference, he recently thanked the people who worked on him, saying:
I want to say to you guys, thank you, for helping me through this bumpy road
Some much welcome good news at last.
