Footage of a university football player being shot outside a school in Texas has gone viral this week.
According to police, five or six shots were fired at BYU recruit, Charles West, after playing a game of basketball at a middle school in Dallas.
In the footage that has surfaced, a man is seen walking up to Charles before opening fire. West manages to flee, and reportedly knocked on someone’s door for help about half a mile from the scene.
For all who is concerned I'm fine. May the lord be with everyone.

He was taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital where he was treated and released with a bullet wound in his upper arm that has been described as a minor injury.
Coppell Police Department investigators identified 18-year-old Monat Kentrall as the gunman and said that he shot West over a money dispute. This was backed up by West, who admitted the pair had argued earlier in the day.
Howard has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a 2nd-degree felony, and is currently being held in the Carrollton Police Jail without bond.
