Ubisoft has officially announced that there will indeed be a beta for their open world shooter Ghost Recon: Wildlands, confirming a long-held rumour.
Unfortunately, it looks like this beta only plans to take on a certain amount of people, with no obvious way of seeing just how Ubisoft plan to select participants.
Still, if you fancy trying your luck with the beta, you can sign up right here on Ubisoft’s website. God speed.
Of course, if you don’t find yourself one of the lucky few the first time around, CEO Yves Guillemot did mention last month that there will be an open beta for Wildlands at some point too, so everyone should get a go.
In addition to news of the beta, Ubisoft have also dropped an explosive new trailer, which you can check out below.
Wildlands is billed as tactical online open world shooter, set in Bolivia in the near future. Players are tasked with going behind enemy lines to take down a drug cartel.
Meanwhile, Ubisoft promise:
Players will have a total freedom of choice to accomplish their missions how they want and watch as the world reacts to their actions.
Ghost Recon: Wildlands is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 7, 2017.
