A 43-year-old man who was caught in a sting operation by a vigilante paedophile hunter group has been found dead.
David Baker was confronted by the Southampton TRAP group when he allegedly arranged to meet a 14-year-old boy in a supermarket car park on October 4, 2017.
Baker was arrested by police and questioned on suspicion of arranging to meet a child under the age of 16 before being released while still under investigation, report the BBC.

Kelly Davies, who was engaged to Baker, learned about the incident through Facebook.
None of us knew anything, we just thought it was someone being sick, we didn’t really believe it.
We were all really upset, the whole family.
He was a kind, loving man, he would do a lot for people, always willing to help.
After finding out the news, Davies moved out of the house with her daughter and grand daughter to stay in a friend’s caravan after hearing of the news.
Davies’ daughter Cherelle Stares said:
Our address was put publicly on social media, I didn’t feel safe as there are idiots out there and I didn’t want a brick being put through the window with my mum and daughter there.
The inquest at Winchester Coroner’s Court heard that a verdict of suicide was recorded after Baker, a gardener, was found dead at his home in Wickham, Hampshire.
Coroner Grahame Short said:
It’s not for me to judge David’s actions on 4 October or indeed the actions of Southampton Trap which led to his arrest.
However I believe in this particular case the postings on social media after his arrest contributed to the stress on David, and to him being alone and isolated in his own home where he made his decision to end his own life.
This was therefore a causative factor to what led to his death, at least in part.
Baker’s mother Janice had been trying to get hold of him after the incident, but could not reach him so officers raided his home where they found him dead in his bed.
He’d reportedly cut himself out of family photos and written two notes to his relatives.
Southampton TRAP took the video down and wrote on Facebook:
Ok so David Baker who we caught this week has been found dead (suicide) our hearts go out to his family at this time and although we can’t stop you we ask that you think before you put negative comments.
We’ve taken down the videos as a sign of respect to his family. This is another reason why these people shouldn’t be bailed as they are a risk to themselves as well as others.
Me and the team will be back out next week hunting so keep your eyes out but for now it’s a couple of days off for everyone.
