Harvey Weinstein Attacked At Restaurant

Reports are coming in that disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein has been attacked after months of hiding from the public following alleged sexual misconduct which emerged last year.

According to TMZ Weinstein was dining at the Elements restaurant at the Sanctuary Camelback Mountain Resort in Scottsdale, with his sobriety coach when the assault took place.

One of the men who took part in the attack, who only gave his name as Steve, told TMZ he approached Weinstein and told him he loved his movies and his work in Hollywood. He then asked him for a picture. According to Steve’s account to TMZ, the disgraced Hollywood executive became ‘belligerent’ and told him to ‘buzz off’.

But according to a statement from the restaurant manager (who is unnamed) he claims; although Harvey Weinstein rejected the photo request he was ‘very sweet about it’ and told Steve he’d ‘rather not take a picture right now’. He says the two parties shook hands and Steve went back to his own table.

It was at around 9PM when Weinstein and his coach decided to leave, they were again approached by Steve and his friend, who were leaving at around the same time.

Steve admitted to TMZ he had already had a little bit too much to drink when he called him a ‘piece of s*** for what you did to these women’ and punched him twice in the face causing Weinstein to stumble backwards and almost fall over.

The manager said none of the punches thrown connected to Weinstein’s face and added the person in question, Steve, was ‘drunk and out of control’.

An onlooker who recorded the incident asked the Hollywood pariah, who is currently facing a mountain of allegations of sexual abuse and misconduct, if he wanted to contact the police but he declined and soon left.
