– 2 egg yolks
– 480ml milk
– 300g self-rising flour
– 80ml oil
– 2 egg whites
– 6 bacon rashers
– 2 Spring Onions
– Fried chicken (from your favourite local chicken shop)
– Maple syrup
First, dice up six rashers of bacon and fry in a large frying pan until crisp.
Then beat the egg whites until stiff and then set aside.
Combine all the other ingredients together in a large bowl and mix until smooth.
Gently fold in the egg whites and add the cooked bacon back into the batter.
Cook the batter in a waffle iron for 3-4 mins or until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
Top the waffles with fried chicken and drizzle with maple syrup and chopped spring onion.
