Wild eyed rogue, Bam Margera, recently took to YouTube to post a video of himself skating after quite a lengthy period of time out of the spotlight.
Following the death of Jackass co-star, Ryan Dunn, Bam’s fall from grace did not go unnoticed by his fans and the media alike as he avoided the limelight and the ramps for ‘four to five years’.
Appearing on Family Therapy last year with his mother in an attempt to stop his self-destructive behaviour many feared the worst – that Bam’s life was on a continuous downwards spiral.
But now that he’s looking better than ever let us remind ourselves of the loveable and archetypal teenage rebel that Bam Margera was back in 1994.
In ’94 Bam was a nobody. A 14-year-old kid making videos in his hometown of West Chester, Pennsylvania. He got his boards from Evol and his wheels from Wheelie Co and skated Love Park and Cheapskates.
Through the magic that is the internet here’s the orgasmic nostalgic overload that is the clip that introduced Bam Margera to the world.
Oh, and while we’re at it – here’s Bam now trying out fellow skater, Roberto Aleman’s mini ramp, at his dad’s house in Spain:
23 years and very little difference.
Viva La Bam.
