Ice Spice has hit back at trolls online after one compared the rapper to a person with Down’s syndrome.
The incident happened when a Twitter user shared an image of the ‘Bikini Bottom’ singer beside a person who has Down’s syndrome.
People with Down's Syndrome are born with an extra chromosome by chance and often have some level of learning difficulties, however, every person has different levels of ability.
Having seen the now-viral tweet, Ice Spice responded with a compliment about the young woman whose photo had been superimposed beside her.

Resharing the post, the rapper added heart-eye emojis and wrote: "U thought u ate but my sis cute asf."
And understandably, the kind reaction has gone viral online with the tweet gaining over 10.7 million views since it was first posted.
Fans have also been in awe of the singer’s response, with one fan excitedly and wrote on Twitter: “Princesses don’t talk to the commoners. Let them feast on your scrapings of the dinner plate.”
Another added: "Ice Spice really may be the most unbothered celebrity," whilst a third wrote: “Great response. Yeah people think she cute too!”
Earlier this year, she was the subject of cruel taunts on The Adam Freidland Show with hosts Friedland and Mullen making derogatory comments about the rapper’s heritage and body.

Guest star Matty Healy was also heard laughing on the podcast after revealing that he’d previously DM’d the rapper on Instagram.
Shortly after it was published, the episode was deemed so offensive that it was removed from Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
The 1975 frontman then went on to apologise to Ice Spice, whilst appearing at a gig in Auckland: “I just feel a bit bad, and I’m kind of a bit sorry if I’ve offended you.”
He added: “Ice Spice, I’m sorry. It’s not because I’m annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It’s because I don’t want Ice Spice to think I’m a d**k. I love you, Ice Spice. I’m so sorry.”

Despite this, the rapper has not publicly responded to the comments or Healy's apology.
Instead, the star has been focusing on her upcoming album and even teased a track listen earlier this year.
