Jeremy Clarkson was rushed to hospital while on holiday in Spain and has posted a photo of himself with a drip on his arm.
The TV star is reportedly being treated for pneumonia, so his daughter Emily wrote his weekly newspaper column which was published yesterday.
Clarkson posted the worrying photo to Instagram with the caption ‘Not the sort of bangles I usually choose on holiday’.
The 57-year-old Top Gear star said to the Sunday Mirror:
Put it this way. You won’t be hearing much from me for a few weeks.
Clarkson also tweeted friend Jemima Goldsmith saying he was ‘in a wheelchair, connected up to tubes, in a hospital’.
He is the second Grand Tour host to be admitted to hospital this year after Richard Hammond was flown to hospital in Switzerland following an electric super car crash.
