Although there are some of us who are holding out for Keanu Reeves to return to his arguably best role – Ted ‘Theodore’ Logan – his return as John Wick is just as exciting.
It gets even more exciting when you see pictures from the set of John Wick: Chapter 3 in which Keanu Reeves, as the titular character, is riding down the streets of New York on horseback, performing stunts. Talk about badass.
The team behind the movie have reportedly been filming throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan for the past few weeks.
Check out the behind-the-scenes footage below:
Photos have been emerging from the set of the new film, which show a suited Keanu, as John Wick, riding a horse down a busy street while simultaneously holding a gun to a guy’s head.
Oh yeah the guy is on a motorbike too. I take it he’s going to shoot through the helmet?
I don’t know about you, but the film just got a whole lot more exciting knowing Keanu has been doing his own stunts.

Fans of the film have been teased for a while about the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 3 – also known as John Wick: Parabellum, and recent images of the movie have also revealed the return of two old faces.
Laurence Fishburne and Ian McShane are set to come back to the action-filled world of John Wick, reprising their characters, The Bowery King and Winston.
Winston has been popping up in Wick’s life since the start of the franchise, as the owner of the Continental Hotel – a neutral place for hired killers.
The hotel owner has helped Wick avoid some sticky situations in the past, one of which was his assumed imminent death after breaking the rules of the Continental and murdering someone on the grounds.
Instead of killing him for his actions, Winston told Wick at the end of Chapter 2, he had one hour to escape.
Presumably, this is where Parabellum will pick up?
The official Twitter page for the movie tweeted a picture of Fishburne and McShane as Winston and The Bowery King, with the caption:
Old friends. New enemies.

It was also announced Halle Berry will be starring in the new film, playing the role of Sofia, described as ‘a woman on a mission’.

Speaking to ComingSoon, Keanu Reeves gave some insight into Halle’s new character.
[Wick] is fighting for his life and thinks that Halle Berry’s character has some information for him.
They have a past, and they get involved with The High Table, this kind of overlording entity.
Keanu also explained the films tentative title – Parabellum – means ‘prepare for war’. And while we’re used to seeing Wick take out a decent number of people (he is an assassin after all), it seems the third instalment in the franchise could be the most violent yet.
The most unlikely action franchise in years continues next May.
Few would have thought the 2014 mid-budget action thriller John Wick would not only contain some of the best fight sequences in years or one of the all-time best Keanu Reeves performances, but that it would be the first entry in what’s fast becoming one of the hottest franchises out there.
John Wick: Chapter 2 could have phoned it in but instead honored and expanded on the original’s legacy, retaining its penchant for brutal, believable action while adding to the overall mythology of what now has to be one of the most intriguing fictional universes out there. It also left a hell of a gate open for John Wick 3 and, well, guess what’s coming out almost exactly one year from now?

Details are still thin, but the movie is filming as we speak, with Reeves involved alongside Ian McShane, Common, Laurence Fishburne, and Ruby Rose reprising their roles from the earlier movies. Popular Japanese actor Hiroyuki Sanada has also joined the cast, and you’ve gotta imagine there’ll be some other wild big names added before this movie comes out.
