Twitter is filled with these sponsored tweets, especially if you happen to follow famous people.
Spanish news paper AS teamed up with advertising agency Opendorse, and worked out roughly how much a sponsored tweet would cost from the top sports stars.
It’s pretty predictable, in that the more followers they have, the more they get paid per tweet.
Here’s the full list. It’s Spanish, so basically ‘Precio’ is the price in thousands of euros, and ‘Seguidores’ is their number of followers.
No surprises seeing Christiano Ronaldo at the top. He gets an INSANE €230k (£168k) per tweet.
If any companies want me to tweet for them, I charge much less than Ronaldo…
