
At least 19 people are dead and 20 others injured following a knife attack on a centre for those with disabilities in Japan.
The centre in Sagamihara, west of Tokyo, was attacked at 2:30 AM local time by a man wielding a knife.
Sky News report that Police in the city have confirmed the attacker was arrested after turning himself in.

According to local news outlet NHK, the 26-year-old man was a former employee of the centre.
The attacker was reportedly spotted in the grounds of of the Tsukui Yamayuri Garden and police were notified before he then forced entry into the building.
