Las Vegas Attack Was ‘Predicted Online’ A Month Ago

An anonymous post on 4chan seemed to predict a shooting in Las Vegas weeks before Stephen Paddock shot dead 59 people and injured hundreds more last Sunday night.

The posts in the /pol/ forum, which were signed ‘John’, speak of revealing ‘a little secret’ before warning readers to stay away from large groups in Las Vegas.

The anonymous poster then went on to describe the ‘high incident project’ aimed at making sure the ‘American public think that places with extremely high security aren’t safe’ to create increased regulation.

The posts read:

Look I feel bad for some of you on this website so I’ll let you in on a little secret.

If you live in Las Vegas or Henderson stay inside tomorrow. Don’t go anywhere where there are large groups of people.

Also if you see three blacks [sic] vans parked next to each other immediately leave the area. You’re Welcome. – John

It continues:

It’s called the ‘high incident project’. They want to make the American public think that places with extremely high security aren’t safe.

They are trying to create more regulations. You will see law proposed within the next few years to put up more metal detectors and other security devices.

Media and politicians will be saying places with lots of police need even more police. I can’t guarantee anything will happen tomorrow but Las Vegas is on their minds.

The final post reads:

If their plan is successful, state of Nevada will pass a law in the future making all casinos have mandatory metal detectors and backscatter machines, soon after a federal law will be passed to put these machines in universities, high schools, federal buildings, you name it.

OSI systems and Chertoff are the main producers of these machines. Sometime around 2020 Chertoff and OSI will merge into a single company. After they merge the owners will sell off all their stock and make billions in profit. Mr Chertoff has been in contact with Sheldon Adelson.

Mr Adelson will become a huge sponsor of these machines and he will be the first to put them in his casinos when the law passes. This is my last message for now. Don’t expect me to return anytime soon.

Paddock, using an automatic weapon, is thought to have shot at the crowd of 22,000 people enjoying the Route 91 Harvest country music festival from the 32nd floor of the Mandalay Bay Hotel before shooting himself.

The final message predicts the increase in metal detectors throughout buildings such as casinos and schools, before signing off ‘don’t expect me to return anytime soon’.

The post was uploaded to 4chan on Sunday September 10 – three weeks before the terrifying incident which became the deadliest shooting in US history.

The 4chan messages were posted on Twitter by ‘political strategist’ Mike Tokes who earlier posted leaked images showing the body of Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock lying in his hotel room, with a note placed close by.

Paddock can be seen surrounded by an assortment of weapons and shell casings including a bipod mounted rifle by his feet as well as a blood stained revolver lying close by.

At least two had been modified to allow for something close to fully-automatic fire, using a legal ‘bump stock’ style device that helps the recoil accelerate how quickly the shooter can pull the trigger.

On a nearby side table, there appears to be a note which could perhaps offer an insight into Paddock’s thinking before the massacre took place.

We have contacted Las Vegas Metropolitan Police for more information on the note.
