Square Enix have announced that Life is Strange – previously a download only title – will get a limited edition physical release come January 22, 2016.
The edition will be available through Square Enix’s online store for £29.99 on Playstation 4 and Xbox One, and £19.99 for Windows PC. Each purchase will include a 32-page art book and a CD of 14 licensed and 8 original tracks by composer Jonathan Morali. Unfortunately for U.S. fans, the PC version is only available in Europe.
The incredible episodic release collectively blew people’s minds when it came out this year, and wrapped up what could easily be a contender for game of the year last month.
Tackling a variety of tough subjects in an engaging and emotional way, the game made a teenager with time travelling abilities seem completely plausible and relatable.
If you’re not sure about Life Is Strange, all I can say is it’d be difficult to give this game a higher recommendation.
