Gabe Adams is not your average 17-year-old, but not having any arms or legs hasn’t prevented him from chasing his passion.

Despite being limbless, Gabe is a talented dancer and is wowing people online after footage of him performing with his high school dance team went viral.

Gabe, who taught himself to dance before honing his skills with the Davis High dance team, can be seen showcasing some awesome break dancing skills.

Speaking to KSL, Gabe said:

I got into dancing because I wanted to prove to myself and other people around me that there was more to me than the kid that was in the wheelchair or the kid who didn’t have an extra activity to do and stuff like that.

I love the feeling that I get from (dancing). I can be free and be who I am and express my emotions and feelings through it all and come out as a completely different person after the performance.

Gabe’s mother, Janelle Adams, added to KSL:

We’ve always encouraged him to not let his life be limited, and it’s just awesome how much he’s taken that to heart, because he’s done way more even than we thought he could do so it’s pretty awesome.

Gabe is a shining example of not letting yourself be bogged down by other peoples’ expectations.

What an absolute hero.
