Lindsay Lohan Reveals We’ve Been Saying Her Name Wrong This Whole Time

Lindsay Lohan has revealed that we’ve been saying her name wrong this entire time.

Lindsay Lohan has revealed that we’ve been saying her name wrong this entire time.

The 35-year-old actor recently joined TikTok and posted an introductory video on February 8, 2022, where she revealed the correct way to pronounce her name.

'Hey everyone. It’s Lindsay Lohan, and guess what? Now I’m on TikTok,' she said.

And that very sentence was enough to kick off a storm about the pronunciation of her second name.

The Mean Girls star said her name in the video as ‘Low-An’, rather than ‘Low-Han’, which is the pronunciation most people appeared to have adopted previously.

With that single word, The Parent Trap star caused a whopping amount of confusion among her followers.

One user commented: 'Lindsay… lowen?'

'Wait. Lindsay “LOWEN”?!? I’ve been saying it wrong my whole life?!?', said another fan.

Meanwhile, others rejected her pronunciation altogether, with one fan stating that it was actually Lohan who pronounced it wrong.

The actor isn’t the only celebrity whose name has been up for debate among fans.

A different fan wrote: 'I can’t with this anymore… first Ariana Grande, then Taylor Lautner, now you.

'Have I said any words right in my life??????'

Another commented: 'Lowen? Loutner? Grandee? Okey they gotta be messing with us at this point.'

This stir wasn’t enough to scare Lohan away from the social media platform, however.

The actor has posted three more videos on TikToks since her controversial introductory clip.
