London Terror Attack Hero Cop Keith Palmer Saved Colleague’s Life
A Former colleague of PC Keith Palmer, who died in yesterday’s terrorist attacks in London, told LBC listeners how he saved her life 11 years ago.
Nina, a former police officer from South London who didn’t reveal her surname, called up LBC Radio to share a tale about how PC Palmer saved her life in a car crash.
She revealed ‘she didn’t know him well’ but he was there when she had the accident whilst on duty.
Nina explained that:
I was the passenger. He was one of the police officers who saved my life.
I owe him everything. He was a wonderful dad and wonderful husband to his wife and everyone.
Keith Palmer died in the line of duty after he was stabbed by the assailant, he was one of the five dead including three members of the public and attacker Khalid Masood. Up to a further 40 people were injured in Wednesday’s attack.
MP James Cleverly served with Palmer when they were both in the military and Tweeted:
A one minute silence was held across the country at 9:33 in the morning (a nod to Palmer’s badge number) to honour the fallen police officer as well as the others who died in Westminster.
It’s also been revealed that Muslim United in London raised thousands of pounds for Keith Palmer’s family and the families of those fallen in yesterday’s attacks.
Our thoughts remain with the victims’ families at this time.
