Luke Wilson Involved In Fatal Car Crash
Actor Luke Wilson has been involved in a fatal car accident which has left one person dead and two others injured.
Golfer Bill Haas was also involved in the horror crash, according to reports.
A car, which the LAPD said belonged to 46-year-old Luke, was hit by a Ferrari just before the crash, according to Mirror Online.
The Legally Blonde and Old School actor’s vehicle was struck by the Ferarri in the Pacific Palisades at 6.31pm on Tuesday evening (2.31 GMT Wednesday).
The driver of the Ferrari, in which Haas was travelling, was pronounced dead at the scene, while two others – including Haas – were taken to a nearby hospital.
Detective Jeff Fischer of the LAPD told TV station KTLA:
I can confirm Luke Wilson was driving the vehicle, the Toyota FJ that was travelling northbound. His vehicle just basically got clipped by the Ferrari.
Mr Bill Haas was the passenger in the Ferrari. Apparently, from what I was told, he’s doing okay too.
Initial reports suggested the two people who were injured – 35-year-old Haas and a 50-year-old female – were believed to be in a ‘serious condition’.
However, according to Detective Fischer, Haas is ‘doing okay’.
The driver of the Ferrari was pronounced dead at the scene while the two other passengers were taken to a nearby hospital.
It’s thought Luke Wilson was travelling in an SUV which was involved in the crash, though he’s reportedly uninjured.
According to Golf Digest, Haas is in LA for a golf tournament at the Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades.
The 6-time PGA Tour winner’s injuries are not thought to be career or life threatening.
Details on what caused the collision have currently not been made available.
