A man who shared a threatening post about a school on social media has been arrested in the US - days after the massacre in Texas that left 19 children and two adults dead.
Cameron Sears, 23, was arrested by officers in Suffolk, Virginia after sharing a post that threatened a local school.
He made the post just days after 18-year-old gunman Salvador Ramos carried out an horrific massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, killing 19 children and two teachers.

Sears has been charged with ‘threats of death or injury to persons on school property’ after cops were alerted to the post at around 1pm local time yesterday.
Sears, who lives in Suffolk, was arrested and taken to Western Tidewater Regional Jail.
The contents of his post have not been shared publicly and it appear to have been deleted.

Suffolk Police Dept shared a statement following the arrest which read: “At 1:02pm on May 28, 2022, SPD was notified of a threatening post on social media regarding an act of violence against a school.
“Detectives investigated the post on the social media threat and found the offender to be Cameron Sears, age 23, a Suffolk resident.
"Mr. Sears was arrested and charged with threats of death or injury to persons on school property on this date and transported to Western Tidewater Regional Jail.”
The force went on to say the investigation remains ongoing and that there is no further information at this time - anyone with any information is urged to contact Suffolk Police Department.
Sears' arrest comes after a 16-year-old in Long Island, was arrested after making a threat against a school in Suffolk County, New York.

The teen had posted on Instagram to say there could be a mass shooting at a school in the area the next day.
Police searched the boy’s home on Thursday, but no weapons were found.
The teen was charged with Making a Terroristic Threat and Aggravated Harassment.
Speaking at the time Suffolk County District Attorney Raymond Tierney told Fox: "We take these threats seriously and will devote our resources to ensuring the safety of our children.

"I thank Suffolk police for their swift action here. Upon learning of this threat, they worked with my office to locate and interview the individual responsible for the threat."
