You can understand why this guy wanted to celebrate getting a new job, but the mess he landed himself in is seriously unbelievable.
Isaac Moore decided to go out on the lash after his successful interview, but somehow managed to wake up on top of the 75ft glass roof of the Grand Arcade in Cambridge. Seriously.
The 27-year-old climbed a fire escape on a branch of Barclays Bank and then scaled up the curved glass roof. When he got up there, he decided to reward himself with a power nap before being rudely awoken by fire fighters.
Moore was soon arrested for his drunken antics but he denied committing any offence. Well, that was until police asked him if he thought he was guilty of causing a public nuisance.
Yeah, I was found on the roof so I suppose I did.
Moore had apparently consumed six pints before his alcohol-fuelled adventure. The beer must be strong in Cambridge.
His solicitor told the court:
He is very embarrassed and ashamed of his behaviour and in no way does he seek to diminish or minimise the impact of his actions on the public and the emergency services.
He had gone out on Saturday to celebrate a new job, clearly he drank too much and has no recollection how he ended up on that roof.
The courts decided Moore had no sinister motives and handed him a 24-month conditional discharge.
In all seriousness, what he did was dangerous. Just stick to a kebab like the rest of us.
