This is the horrifying moment a man accidentally live streamed himself being shot multiple times at an intersection in Chicago directly onto Facebook.
The shocking clip, which has since gone viral on the social media site, shows the unidentified victim, wearing a White Sox baseball cap, laughing to the camera and talking about how a shop nearby is about to be opened up for him to hide in.
However in a matter of seconds the haunting figure of another man appears in the background before the victim is shot over a dozen times, reports the Daily Mail.
Although it is not entirely clear who the shooter is.
For the final minute of the harrowing vid the viewer is left to stare at the clouds as numerous people appear to approach the body with distress.
One person out of sight is heard saying that he will take the victim to hospital while a woman screams in anger and upset.
Many have questioned the legitimacy of the video, with some claiming that it looks like it could have been set up – however Chicago Police have confirmed that a 31-year-old man was shot at the same intersection at the same time.
The man is currently in critical condition at Mount Sinai Hospital.
Apparently the shooter fled the scene in a car.
In just the first three months of this year over 700 people were shot in the city of Chicago alone.
It is reportedly the bloodiest beginning to a year for the city since 1999.
