Man Shot And Killed After Not Holding Door Open For Woman At McDonald’s

A man has been shot and killed outside a McDonald’s after he mistakenly did not hold the door open for a woman.

Mohammad Robinson, 31, died on Sunday morning when a man shot him outside the McDonald’s near Pecos and Las Vegas Boulevard.

Robinson’s mother told KVVU:

He was coming into McDonald’s and some female was going out. The door closed before she could get out and what happened is she said a few choice words to him.

According to police, the woman’s boyfriend confronted Robinson in the parking lot and the two argued before the man pulled out a gun and shot Robinson multiple times.

Robinson was rushed to the University Medical Center where he died on Sunday morning.

His 14-year-old daughter, Miniya Sampson, said: “It was a stupid reason honestly, irrelevant. It doesn’t make any sense why would you actually take someone’s life over not opening a door.”

Robinson’s girlfriend and the mother of his three-month-old child described him as a ‘respectful man’, telling Las Vegas news channel KSNV News3LV: “He was the utmost respect for his elders. Yes, ma’am – no sir. He’s not confrontational even when we would argue he’d walk away.”

The shooter has not yet been caught, but Sampson believes her father died because of a misunderstanding. She said: “My dad would open the door and hold it for the lady but he probably didn’t hear her. I love him. I wish he was still here.”

The family is asking for GoFundMe donations to help pay for Robinson’s burial costs.

Another senseless killing in America from another senseless person with a gun.
