Meadow Walker has revealed she had an abortion in 2020, following the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v Wade.
The 23-year old took to Instagram to share her experience with abortion, after news broke on the Supreme Court's ruling.
Opening up to her 3.7 million followers, she wrote: "Today marks a huge setback in history - a profound injustice to women across the United States.

"There are countless women who have struggled with making the decision to have an abortion. I too have battled with the choice but in 2020, when the world was collapsing during the pandemic, I sought an abortion."
The daughter of late actor Paul Walker, noted that decision to get an abortion should be 'private and personal'.
She also added that she is lucky to have had a doctor to support through the 'debilitating process', highlighting the difficulties women across the US will have to face.
She added: "Now, knowing even more women won’t have the opportunity to seek safe termination and choose their bodies first is absolutely heartbreaking."

The model concluded the candid post saying: "In a world that constantly marginalises females, this feels like the biggest assault of them all. Banning abortion doesn’t prevent abortions, it prevents safe abortions."
Despite receiving an outpour of supportive replies in the comments, Walker was unfortunately subjected to abuse.

She addressed the hateful comments on her Instagram story, writing: "The amount of hate comments I’ve received on this post is unbelievable. Please unfollow me if you don’t agree with my values. Do not stay around to comment horrible things."
Walker is just one of many celebrities to speak since the news broke on Friday.
Taylor Swift tweeted: "I'm absolutely terrified that this is where we are - that after so many decades of people fighting for women's rights to their own bodies, today's decision has stripped us of that."
Disney star Selena Gomez tweeted: "Watching a Constitutional right be stripped away is horrific. A woman should have the right to CHOOSE what she wants to do with her own body. End of story."
Meanwhile, former First Lady Michelle Obama shared her thoughts on Instagram. She wrote: "I am heartbroken that we may now be destined to learn the painful lessons of a time before Roe was made law of the land - a time when women risked losing their lives getting illegal abortions."

The decision to overturn Roe v Wade will mean that individual states can regulate abortion laws as they deem appropriate.
About half of the state are expected to introduce new restrictions or bans, while a total of 13 states including Texas and Louisiana have used trigger laws to immediately push abortion bans once Roe V Wade is overturned.
