Charlotte Michaels is a self confessed selfie addict, who spends hours each day taking pictures of herself.
The 23-year-old is a drama student from Richmond, and claims that she can’t have a moment pass in her life, be it significant or not, without documenting it on camera.
Not only does she take 200 selfies a day, she also spends five hours each night editing her snaps, picking out the best ones to go on social media.
As you might imagine, this leaves very little time for her to do anything else.
Charlotte even admits that she split up with her last boyfriend because he became annoyed at her prioritising selfies over him.
I wake up every morning between 6am and 7am and usually then take an hour to do my make-up.
Then I’m ready to plan my outfit – I often wear dark colours as they tend to complement me more in pictures.
I will then head to class about 9am, usually I run late though as I start taking selfies by my bedroom window. When I get my lectures, I make sure to sit in a row that means I can capture as many selfies and Snapchat stories as possible.
I have a Canon EOS 550D DSLR camera as well, which I will often set up on a tripod and on a self-timer. I’ll conduct little mini photoshoots in my bedroom, which can sometimes take hours and means I end up skipping dinner.
I fret about which photo to post and I don’t settle down into bed until about 3am most nights,’ she says. ‘I suffer from insomnia – something my doctor told me is influenced by my late-night picture editing.
Charlotte claims that Kylie Jenner is her biggest source of inspiration, and that she now plans to get work done on her teeth and fillers in her face.
Oh and if that wasn’t enough, she says that even being at a funeral wouldn’t deter her from taking a selfie.
