A Norwegian woman has claimed that she is, in fact, a cat, and has been living that way for the past four years.
The 20-year-old called Nano says she has been a cat for all of her life, but only made the discovery at the age of 16, reports the Telegraph.
She has explained her feline tendencies are the result of some form of ‘genetic defect’.
I realised I was a cat when I was 16 when doctors and psychologists found out what was ‘the thing’ with me. Under my birth there was a genetic defect.
The belief has manifested itself in a wide range of behaviours that most humans would not engage in.
Nano often communicates by meowing, she prefers crawling on all fours, she gazes out of windows when she would like to go outside, dogs are greeted with hissing, and she also claims to take naps in the sink. Okay…
And Nano has no plans to adopt a human lifestyle anytime soon.
My psychologist told me I can grow out of it, but I doubt it. I think I will be cat all my life.
Well if she isn’t hurting anyone, or torturing smaller creatures for fun, it’s simply a case of each to their own, I guess.
