Singer Michael Bublé and his wife Luisana Lopilato are expecting a baby girl.

The 42-year-old singer confirmed they are expecting the arrival of their third child in the next three weeks, confirming months of speculation.

The Haven’t Met You Yet crooner, who has two children already, Noah, four, and Elias, two, confirmed the news on an Irish radio station.

Speaking to Today FM Bublé said:

I’ve got my first little girl coming in three weeks, and I’ve actually never said that before in public. I’ve got a daughter coming.

He first revealed he and Lopilato were expecting when he was hosting the Juno Awards in Vancouver, Canada, back in March this year, according to IOL.

He jokingly told the audience:

Oops, you did it again – my wife and I are pregnant with our number three. I love you so much, mi amor.

Rumours suggesting the couple were expecting resurfaced a few weeks prior to the awards after Luisana’s actor brother, Dario, nearly spilt the beans when asked.

Dario said:

I wouldn’t be able to tell you … I swear the truth is I couldn’t tell because I don’t, I don’t, I don’t know. When it comes to thinking about [names], I prefer it to be something specific because you begin to get excited. So I really couldn’t tell you.

Family, if you can’t trust them to keep a secret, who can you trust?

In November 2016 Michael and Luisana’s eldest son Noah was diagnosed with liver cancer. But in April 2017, Michael’s brother-in-law stated Noah was ‘doing well’.

Following a tough five-month treatment for her son, the Argentinian model and actor spoke about the horrendous ordeal the family had to go through.

She told the Daily Mail:

Thank God, my son is well. When things like those that happened to us occur, your take on life changes. Now I value life much more, the now and the today.

I would like to thank people for their support, for the prayers they said, for their love. And I want them to know that they reached us and that it helped us a lot to come through this.

It’s difficult for me to speak about this, it’s very recent and I’m still a bit sensitive about the subject. But the love is daily, when people stop me in the street.

It’s wonderful to know that you’re accompanied in life and that people love you.

The soon-to-be mother of three explained how Noah’s recovery is a ‘long process’. He will be required to have check ups, but they are ‘very happy ’with his progress right now.

She added:

We are looking forward to thinking about the future, to seeing our children grow.

I became strong so my son would get better. I transmitted that to all my friends and family. As a family we were always very united and we fought this together.

Speaking on his Son’s ordeal, the Canadian singer stated that:

We are so grateful to report that our son Noah has been progressing well during his treatment and the doctors are very optimistic about the future for our little boy.

He has been brave throughout and we continue to be inspired by his courage. We thank God for the strength he has given all of us.

Here’s to a bright future for the entire Bublé clan. Congratulations!
