The moment Amber Heard name-dropped Kate Moss is doing the rounds online again after it was revealed that the supermodel will be called to the stand as a witness.
Monday, 23 May, marked the start of the final week of the ongoing defamation trial in which Johnny Depp is seeking $50 million in damages for a 2018 op-ed Heard had written for The Washington Post claiming she was a victim of domestic abuse.
Depp continues to fight against the accusations today, and while the article didn't name Depp, his lawyers argue it caused devastating damage to his personal and professional reputation.

Although the jury's deliberations will start as soon as the closing arguments are wrapped up on Friday, Moss has been called in last minute and is set to take the stand on Wednesday, 25 May.
A source close to the case exclusively confirmed the news to the NY Post following much speculation as to whether the British model would testify in the case.
The reason behind the speculation is that Heard name dropped Moss in court earlier in the trial, on 5 May, while describing an incident she alleged to have happened between herself, Depp and her sister Whitney.
In the clip, which has been widely circulated on social media, the Aquaman star says, "I just see my little sister with her back to the staircase and Johnny swings at her and I don't even wait," adding, "In my head I just instantly think of Kate Moss and the stairs and I swung at him."

Heard was referring to a rumour discussed in the UK trial against The Sun, claiming she was told by two people that Depp pushed Moss down the stairs when they dated in the 1990s.
However, the incident has never been anything more than hearsay, and to this day Moss herself has never spoken of any violence in their relationship.
Depp's legal team appeared to celebrate the moment in court, with lawyer Benjamin Chew even turning to his colleague and fist-pumping.

Numerous experts suggested at the time that the name-drop could work in Depp's favour, with entertainment lawyer Mitra Ahouraian stating: "[Moss] is still allegedly friends with Johnny, and her testimony wasn't allowed to come in before because it wasn't as relevant."

She added: “That’s one mistake that [Amber Heard] made was bringing up Kate Moss, which potentially opened the door to [Depp’s team] bringing [Moss] on as an impeachment witness – and Moss saying, 'This never happened'."
