Mum Admits Murdering Three Children With Help Of Teenage Son

Angela Flores was arrested after following reports of an assault with a deadly weapon over the weekend

A mum has admitted murdering her three children with the help of her teenage son.

Angela Flores, from Los Angeles, was arrested on the morning of Sunday, 8 May, after police were called to reports of an assault with a deadly weapon at a property on Victory Boulevard.

After arriving at the house, officers found three children, aged between eight and 12, who were 'unresponsive'.

Sadly, paramedics confirmed that all three had died at the scene, though the causes of death were not revealed.

At the time, Flores was detained by police, as was her 16-year-old son.

The 38-year-old was taken in for questioning and admitted to murdering her three young children with his help.

A spokesperson for Los Angeles Police Department said: "On May 8, 2022, around 7:40 am, Los Angeles Police Department, Topanga Division patrol officers received a radio call to respond to a 911 call reporting an assault with a deadly weapon suspect at a residence in the 22500 block of Victory Blvd.

Police were called to Flores' house early on Sunday morning.

"Officers arrived at the location and found three juveniles unresponsive inside the location, ages ranging from 8 to 12 years old.

"Los Angeles City Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and determined all three children were deceased.

"The children’s mother, 38-year-old Angela Flores, and a 16-year-old subject were detained for further investigation.

"During the subsequent investigation, Flores admitted to killing her children with the assistance of the 16-year-old subject."

The LAPD confirmed that Flores was subsequently arrested on three counts of murder and was booked at Van Nuys jail, where she was held on a $6,000,000 bail.

Her son was also arrested for one count of murder and held without bail at Sylmar Juvenile Hall.

Speaking on Monday, 9 May, LA County District Attorney George Gascón said the case had not yet been submitted to him.
