EA has released the latest entry in its informative Battlefield 1 video series, with this one shining a light on the historic vehicles we’ll be fucking about in.
The two minute video focuses mostly on tanks, which were a major innovation during the First World War – check out the trailer below.
Obviously, these machines of war are horrendous creations, but this is Videogame Land; where a healthy dose of violent detachment is positively encouraged.
In addition to tanks, we also get a look at some of the fighter and bomber planes we’ll be piloting in our battles.
Once again, I’m blown away by developer DICE’s attention to detail when putting together this game – just take a look at these black & white screenshots that were taken earlier in the week to see what I mean.
Unfortunately the bigger vessels – battleships and zeppelins – are nowhere to be seen. I’d imagine EA is saving the more sizeable vehicles for another video, as I’m sure they work a little differently.
EA’s previous video focused in on machine guns, mounted weapons, and other kinds of infantry weapons – you can check that out just below.
Battlefield 1 comes to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 21, with a beta expected to kick off some time late August/early September.
