Sony has shared a lovely new cinematic trailer for the PlayStation 4 exclusive action/RPG Horizon: Zero Dawn, and it’s looking pretty damn good.
The latest video reveals a little more about our hero, Aloy, as well as the world she lives in, her allies and enemies, and teases out some of the epic story.
Check it out below:
The trailer certainly raises more questions than it answers, but in an age where movie trailers seem content to spell out the entire plot for you, this is definitely a good thing.
We’re also treated to a taste of Aloy’s ability to control the robot dinosaur creatures with her mind, and yes, it looks as awesome as it sounds.
Developed by Guerrilla Games, Horizon: Zero Dawn is an open world adventure that takes place in a land full of mech/monster hyrbrids, which our hero can hunt, tame, or just kill for upgrades to her own considerable arsenal.
It was originally meant to launch in 2016, but was pushed back in order for the developer to ‘deliver fully’ on their ‘ambitious vision for Horizon: Zero Dawn.’
Good things come to those who wait however, and we can look forward to an impending February 28 in the US, and March 3 in the UK.
