In the late hours of yesterday evening, North Korea launched a ballistic missile, thought to be intercontinental, which prematurely exploded ‘almost immediately’.
While the missile injured nobody at all, the same cannot be said for a handful of North Korean soldiers who spread a joke about Kim.
The bizarre joke, which compares Kim Jong-un to a kindergartner, has led to many soldiers getting the death penalty, according to the Daily Mail.
Another joke, claiming Kim is mentally ill, is also incredibly popular – but Kim just doesn’t seem to find it too funny.
Numerous soldiers from the second army corps have been placed under arrest for mocking the North Korean leader.
The source who leaked this information said:
News of cadres of the second army corps slandering Kim Jong-un reached all the way to the People’s Army’s General Political Bureau, and the arrested cadres are to be severely punished.
While the U.S. continues to bomb the hell out of Syria and Afghanistan, with relationships with Russia in turmoil, and North Korea perpetually stirring the pot it appears that only thing that is certain is uncertainty.
What a time to be alive.
