Pablo Escobar’s Son Makes Shocking Revelation About His Father And The CIA
Only a handful of men throughout history require no introduction. One of them is Pablo Escobar.
Escobar was responsible for around 80 per cent of the world’s cocaine and smuggled 15 tonnes of coke into the U.S. every single day – earning him the nickname, The King of Cocaine.
As the seventh richest man in the world at his peak, ol’ Pablo was used to raking in around $420 million dollars every week – making him one of the richest drug lords in history.
But was Pablo working alone with his infamous Medellin Cartel, or was there a helping hand from none other than the United States of America. According to his son, there was.
The eldest son of Pablo Escobar, Juan Pablo Escobar Henao, released his second book recently, Pablo Escobar In Fraganti – in it, he reportedly claims his father ‘worked for the CIA’, according to numerous South American news sites.
According to Milenio, Juan wrote:
My father worked for the CIA selling cocaine to finance the fight against Communism in Central America.
The drug business is very different than what we dreamed. What the CIA was doing was buying the controls to get the drug into their country and getting a wonderful deal.
He did not make the money alone but with US agencies that allowed him access to this money. He had direct relations with the CIA.
He added: ‘The person who sold the most drugs to the CIA was Pablo Escobar’.
Before you throw away Juan’s comments as mere conspiracy garbage written down in order to sell his book remember that back in 1996, investigative journalist, Gary Webb, exposed CIA links to the drug trade in a series of articles entitled ‘Dark Alliance’.
The series unearthed a wealth of evidence linking the CIA with Nicaraguan contras and the crack cocaine trade which was destroying a lot of African American communities.
Strangely, Webb was found dead eight years later. His tragic death was ruled as suicide but speculation around the true cause of his death is rife considering Webb had been shot twice.
