A former Playboy model has been jailed for her part in the attempted murder of a Bosnian mafia leader.
Slobodanka Tosic, 29, was sentenced to two and a half years behind bars after luring convicted murderer Djordje Zdrale into an ambush where his rivals were waiting to kill him, The Sun reports.
Zdrale, who was allegedly in love with Tosic, survived the attempted assassination and later testified against the model and reality TV star in court.
According to The Sun, the hit was masterminded by another gang figure, Darko Elez, who local media say was dating Tosic at the time. Tosic agreed to act as bait for the gang member in order to lure Zdrale into the trap.
The attempted murder comes on the heels of the former Miss Bosnia being caught amid an international undercover investigation – Operation Doll – which targeted the criminal gang she was a part of.
Tosic was extradited from Croatia back to Bosnia after being linked to five murders and a string of robberies worth over £4 million.
