Vladimir Putin’s secret lover has been seen in public for the first time at a rhythmic gymnastics training camp in Sochi.
Alina Kabaeva, 39, is thought to have a hidden family with the Russian President and was last seen in Sochi with 28 children.
She told the children present: “I want to urge everyone not to give up – reach your goals, do not lose heart."

Kabaeva is one of the most decorated gymnasts in Olympic gymnastic history, winning two Olympic medals, 14 World Championship medals, and 21 European Championship medals.
It was her first public appearance since April, which saw her appear alongside several children at Moscow’s Tomb of the Unknown Soldier to honour the fallen Russian soldiers during World War Two.
A Telegram channel has called her the 'invisible princess' and she heads a strong pro-Kremlin media outlet, but refuses to answer any questions about her alleged relationship with Putin.

There are widespread reports that she and children have at least three children together, according to US officials, but this has never been confirmed.
Kabaeva has nevertheless been sanctioned by the authorities in the UK, Canada and the EU.
“She is alleged to have a close personal relationship with Putin,” the UK authorities said.
Meanwhile, Canadian foreign affairs minister Melanie Joly added: “I don’t know (what) to call her, but his partner, yes, I guess.”

The EU also labelled her as a 'close associate' of the Russian President, but the US government has not imposed any sanctions on Kabaeva as yet.
News outlet Moskovsky Komsomolets reported the following about Kabaeva’s appearance: “Alina loves expensive stylish outfits, which, being the head of the National Media Group, she can afford.
“Alina talked with the children in white trousers, a lilac long sleeve [blouse] and a matching cardigan. The tanned star covered her eyes with stylish white-framed sunglasses.”
Kabaeva was first linked to Putin back in 2008 as a pro-Kremlin MP.
Putin has distanced himself from any stories regarding the rumoured relationship and has previously said: “I have a private life in which I do not permit interference. It must be respected."

He condemned 'those who with their snotty noses and erotic fantasies prowl into others lives'.
Meawhile, Kabaeva has said she had met a man who she 'loves very much', adding: “Sometimes you feel so happy that you even feel scared.”
