Ricky Gervais Just ‘Broke The World Record’ For Voice Impressions

I’m sure by now we’ve all seen at least one of those videos were people attempt to do as many voice impressions as humanly possible in a short space of time.

But did you know that Ricky Gervais just broke the world record for doing the most ‘accurate’ impressions in 30-seconds – leading many to argue that he was lip syncing to the originals because they were just that good?

Of course, I’m lying…

Despite Gervais’ acting and screenwriting genius, it would appear that changing his accent, or doing an impression for that matter, any impression, is certainly not his forte and should definitely not be on his CV.

Appearing on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Ricky attempted Robert De Niro’s classic ‘Are you talkin’ to me?’ line from Taxi Driver as well as lines from Arnold Schwarzenegger, Winston Churchill, Bill Clinton, Christopher Walken and Clint Eastwood.

And he performs them all in the incredibly high pitched falsetto voice that you’ll be used to if you’ve seen any of Ricky’s films or TV shows.

Enjoy.
