On Wednesday, March 2, a rodeo bull bucked off its rider, crashed through barriers and charged into the spectator VIP stand, injuring 15 people.
The incident occurred in the town of Tiripetio, Mexico, during a 'jaripeo' event.
A jaripeo is a form of bullfighting typically practiced in central and southern Mexico.

According to reports, the 1,325 pound bull shirked off its rider and approached the security fence.
The bull proceeded to break through the fencing and attacked spectators.
Those sitting further away from the incident caught it on camera, as chairs and drinks went flying.

Over the PA system at the event an announcer can be heard saying, 'No, no, no... Everybody get out of the ring. Oh, holy god. We never thought this would happen. Be careful guys.'
The bull was eventually roped in by several cowboys and brought back into the ring, according to reports.
15 people were said to have been hurt but fortunately did not sustain any life threatening injuries.

Some of those injured were treated by paramedics on arrival at the scene.
There have been claims that there were no ambulance workers or trained emergency responders at the event prior to being called.
Visitors are also said to have complained about a lack of security at the event, with regards to the weak fences that failed to protect them from the bull.
Images of the incident were shared to social media, where you can see the full force of the bull's rampage.
A similar incident nearly occurred in Idaho last year, when a bull came close to breaching a barrier at That Famous Preston Night Rodeo, as per The Independent.

At the Rodeo night, the bull threw off his rider and headed towards spectators. Fortunately, the bull failed to get into the stands.
However, spectators were still shocked by the ordeal, with one man, Robert Hugo, detailing how the bull nearly jumped the fence in front of him.
He said of the incident, 'It all happened so fast. I just remember thinking. I have to get out of the way!'
'Spectators quickly gave up their front row seats to a very demanding bull', he added.

Hugo also went on to explain that he was glad no one was hurt, including the bull, before adding that he 'can't wait' to go to the event again next year.
