Roxanne Pallett has been ‘fired’ from her radio show and upcoming pantomime gigs after ‘lying’ about Ryan Thomas punching her.
The former Emmerdale star has been dropped from the Breakfast With Ben & Roxy radio show which she has co-hosted with Ben Fry since February this year.
35-year-old Pallett will also reportedly not be making an appearance this panto season. She had been due to take up the starring role in Cinderella, at Chesterfield’s Pomegranate Theatre.
This news comes after Pallett apologised for the allegations she made about former Coronation Street actor Ryan Thomas, who she appeared with on Celebrity Big Brother.
Radio station Minster FM released the following statement on air:
As a result of discussions today with her representatives, Minster FM can confirm that Roxanne Pallett has stepped down from her position at the station with immediate effect to take some time out and reflect on recent events.
Roxanne will not be returning to Minster FM.
Cinderella producers Paul Holmon Associates have also released a statement regarding Pallett over Twitter:
Roxanne Pallett has today decided to step down from her upcoming role as Cinderella in Chesterfield, in order to take some time out and reflect on recent events.
We wish Roxanne the best and will be announcing her replacement in due course.

While appearing on this year’s Celebrity Big Brother, Pallett accused Thomas of punching her in the ribs with the intention of causing her pain.
Pallett claimed she had been ‘punched repeatedly, unprovoked and completely deliberately’ by Thomas and even asked if she could sleep in a different bedroom to him as she didn’t feel ‘safe’.
After hearing chants of ‘get Roxy out’ during Ben Jardine’s Friday night eviction, Pallett quit the Big Brother house, and has since faced an enormous public backlash.

Speaking on Jeremy Vine, Pallett apologised to Thomas and admitted she had overreacted to the situation:
I massively apologise to Ryan, his friends and fans and every single person who watched that,
[It was] an overreaction to what wasn’t a malicious act.
I was sensitive and emotional and mistook what was playful – I apologise for it, I shouldn’t have questioned his motivation.
I have been a victim of domestic abuse. I’ve worked with Women’s Aid because of my own experience and perhaps they were right, my reaction was a tell-tale sign I had been in a situation like that.
I would be horrified if people thought I had discredited and undermined abuse.
After it happened, my mind ran away with me and everything in that house becomes so heightened – a look, a comment an action, your insecurities and sensitivity – in the moment it felt worse than it was.
Pallett has reportedly not yet reached out to Thomas’ family, who have been left ‘in tears’ following the accusations.
