A photographer has caused a debate online after asking if they were the 'a**hole' for deleting all of a couple's wedding photos.
Working long shifts can be thirsty work, and everyone can get hangry from time to time, but it seems all of this chaos could have been avoided if someone would of just chucked this photographer a cheeseburger.
The dilemma was posted to a thread on Reddit called 'AITA' (Am I the a**hole?).

One poster took to the thread to tell the tale of how they were asked to be the photographer at a friend's wedding, and the nightmare of a day that followed.
The original poster (OP) explained that, although they were not a professional photographer, a friend had asked them to photograph the wedding as finances were tight.
So for $250, OP agreed to snap the wedding day for the couple.
They photographed every moment of the special day, but when the wedding party finally sat down to eat, the photographer who had been there since the beginning at the day was told not to touch the food and wasn't offered a seat at the table.

They said: "I started around 11am and was due to finish around 7.30pm. Around 5pm, food is being served and I was told I cannot stop to eat because I need to be [the] photographer; in fact, they didn’t save me a spot at any table. It’s also unbelievably hot."
They then asked the groom for '20 minutes just to grab some water', after which they were told to either continue taking pictures or 'leave without pay' - which was evidently the final straw for the photographer.
"With the heat, being hungry, being generally annoyed at the circumstances, I asked if he was sure, and he said yes, so I deleted all the photos I took in front of him,” the Reddit user continued, adding that they then left after informing the groom they were 'not his photographer anymore'.

They added: “If I was to be paid $250, honestly at that point I would have paid $250 just for a glass of water and somewhere to sit for five minutes.”

The poster then asked if they were the a**hole in this scenario, and mentioned that the couple did in fact give them a RSVP asking for their food preferences for the day.
As with the majority of things, people were polarized over the photographer's decision.
One posted to the thread: "They were taking advantage of you, to the point of exploitation, and you stood up for yourself. They weren’t acting like friends at all, nevermind decent people that hired someone for their services at a pittance. Try not to undersell yourself in the future OP.”

While others disagreed and argued that it was selfish to punish the wife for her husband's actions, and has now been left with no memories from her day.
It's gutting to think this could of been avoided with a tuna wrap and a bottle of Sprite.
