Shaolin Monk Breaks Science By Running On Water For 125 Metres

A Shaolin monk runs 125 metres on water.

Sort of.

Shi Liliang can run on water. Kind of. He can run along planks that are floating on water, which is as close as you’re going to get, unless you happen to be Jesus.

He’s been running on water for ten years, and on Thursday broke his own record by managing to get 125 metres across a lake.

It wasn’t his first attempt. He’s tried it five times before, so that Shaolin patience really does pay off.

He’s received quite a bit of attention for his stunt, but being the good monk that he is, he’s used it to focus on raising tuition money for underprivileged students.
