The video, shot at T&S Farm in Dukedom Tennessee, shows factory workers beating chickens with spikes and stepping on their heads to snap their necks. T&S was under contract with Tyson foods, which supplies meat for McDonald’s McNuggets.

Since its release both companies have ended their contract with the farm.

This type of abuse runs rampant in the animal agriculture industry, which seeks to maximize profit and minimize costs at the expense of animals, public health and the environment.

The organisation is now calling on McDonald’s to start implementing meaningful animal welfare policies.

Now, obviously if you eat meat, animals are going to die. But killing them like this is just fucking cruel.
