Shocking footage has emerged of one woman being beaten by police, over and over again, despite shouting for help.
Cindy Hahn, 40, is suing the city of Carlsbad and their officers for the treatment she endured, and given it was caught on camera, you have to think they don’t have a leg to stand on.
She claims that she has now been left with permanent memory loss after the brain trauma suffered.
The incident occurred after she spoke to one officer, and asked him a question – and was told to ‘mind her own f*cking business’.
She claims to have then told one man what the officer had said to her, along with reporting it to the police.
She then drove off but was pulled over with one officer citing a seatbelt violation.
As backup arrived, she was forced to the ground as one officer began hitting her – with the other holding her down.
Her children, aged seven and 11, were in the car watching, as she screamed over and over again for someone to help her.
She spoke to CBSLA.com about the incident and her son’s reaction, and said:
The only thing that he’ll talk to me about is ‘I couldn’t protect you, Mom.’
I could’ve. I could’ve got him off you. I could have helped you.
