Skyrim Speedrunner Gets Married In Under Five Minutes

Mum always told me that any good love story should start with a botched execution and a dragon attack – something Skyrim is clearly keen to reinforce.

Not content with a standard speedrun, a Twitch streamer by the (brilliant) name of 5exual_Tyrannosaurus just broke the unusual world record of fastest marriage in Bethesda’s open world classic.

This impressive effort clocks in at a breathless 3 minutes and 37 seconds, which just goes to show that when you know you’ve met the one, you just know.

Desperate for love, our hero bounds away from a vicious dragon, leaping over mountains, punching guards in the face, and even flying through the air to get to his true love.

I hear Richard Curtis is currently clamouring to get the movie rights to this Skyrim love story, but nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

For now, why not check out the original video? Just make sure you have your hankies at the ready.

For comparison, when I was about four minutes into Skyrim: Special Edition, I think I’d only just finished creating my character. Clearly, 5exual_Tyrannosaurus is a stud.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, our speedy romancer also holds claim to smashing through the game’s main story in just 33 minutes – check that out below.

If you’re interested, you can also find out how to use all the tricks and glitches seen in the above videos by heading here – but wouldn’t that ruin the romance of it all?
