Someone Recreated Springfield With LEGO And I’m Nerding Out

One Simpsons mad graphic designer has taken his love for the show and LEGO to a whole new level by creating the whole of Springfield using the famous bricks.

Matt De Lanoy has spared absolutely no detail with his creation and deserves all the credit he gets – it’s an incredible effort.

His version of Springfield includes 742 Evergreen Terrace, the Town Hall, Kwik-E-Mart, Moe’s Tavern, Springfield Elementary, and well, pretty much everything else.

On his Flickr account, Matt says:

When the small line of Lego Simpsons was first announced, I just knew I’d end up building the city.

I love building layouts, and with already having built New New York from Futurama, Springfield seemed an obvious choice for my next project. Plus, this time I wouldn’t have to create any custom figures.

I’m not going to lie, I may just have to jump on Amazon after this and order some Simpsons LEGO for myself.

I so want to do this!
