During the recent PlayStation experience event, Sony revealed that Crash isn’t the only classic PlayStation franchise set to receive a face-lift.
The bandicoot will be joined in 2017 by a HD collection of futuristic racer Wipeout, as well as a visual upgrade for dog/rhythm icon Parappa The Rapper.
The Wipeout Omega Collection will include Wipeout HD, Wipeout Fury, and Wipeout 2028. It’s set to launch next Summer, and you can check out the first trailer just below.
Then of course, there’s The Crash Bandicoot N-Sane Trilogy, which will feature the first three (and best) Crash games with shiny HD visuals.
This one’s also scheduled for sometime in 2017, and you can check out a brand new – very impressive – trailer below.
Finally, the PlayStation 4 re-release of Parappa the Rapper – one of the strangest, most stylish, and underrated PlayStation games ever – has a demo available on PSN today, and I thoroughly recommend you check it out.
Like his fellow PlayStation brethren, Parappa won’t be gracing us with a proper appearance until 2017, but here’s a trailer to keep you ticking over…
In addition to the above three (as if it wasn’t enough already), Loco Roco and Patapon are also getting PS4 upgrades sometime next year – but more on those soon.
