A 10-year-old chess wonder-kid has been dubbed with the impressive title of the 'Messi of chess' following his latest victory.
While chess may not be as popular as the likes of soccer and football, the game certainly has a cult following.
And that passionate following was treated to some unbelievable performances recently, partly thanks to a 10-year-old.

This little guy is clearly the MVP as he has now beaten one of the most famous names in the history of the sport, Magnus Carlsen.
Carlsen has long held the number one position in FIDE’s chess rankings, with many left wondering if he is actually unbeatable.
But on Saturday (23 March), Carlsen was beaten by a 10-year-old Faustino Oro in just 38 seconds.

The Argentine beat Carlsen in a bullet game - a chess competition that sees players given less than three minutes per game, based on lasting 40 moves.
The whole game was streamed on the 10-year-old's YouTube channel, something that made for amazing viewing.
And Oro made his feelings well known as he pushed from victory for victory against his rival.
“If I lose this I can retire from chess,” he said as he pushed for the allusive victory.

Oro shortly went on to win the match, with Carlsen retiring from the game after he was left in a position he could not come back from.
Chess.com posted about Oro’s remarkable victory, saying: "The 10-year-old ‘Golden Boy’ Faustino Oro beat Magnus Carlsen yesterday in a bullet game!"
They also dubbed him the 'Messi of chess', referring to the legendary Argentina footballer and former Barcelona star, Lionel Messi.
Meanwhile, a patient installed with Elon Musk’s brain chip has remarkably played online chess using only their mind.

Mr. Arbaugh, 29, who was left paralysed below the shoulders in a diving accident, received the chip in an operation in January.
Mr. Arbaugh said that the procedure to install the device was 'super easy', while speaking during a recent presentation.
However, the new technology is not perfect, with Mr. Arbaugh having 'run into some issues', which are being looked into.
The hope is the tech will enable people who have suffered severe spinal or neurological issues to tackle some of the challenges they face on a daily basis.

While it may have its problems currently, the patient was able to online chess using only his mind - something a lot of folks hope will revolutionize the game.
