Dwyane Wade has been criticized after letting his five-year-old daughter give him a makeover.
While the NBA legend was seen as a sporting icon on the court, he has certainly showcased his softer side online since his retirement in 2019.
Last month, Wade was really embracing his life as girl dad, but not everyone was left best pleased by his social media posts.

In a series of photos posted to his Instagram stories, the the former professional basketball player let his five-year-old daughter Kaavia James give him a bit of a makeover.
He also shared a series of videos, as he jokingly shook his head in disapproval with his young daughter doing his makeup.
“Daughters get away with everything," Wade wrote across the bottom of the video.
In a second video, Wade told Kaavia to 'do it again', as she pressed the eyeshadow palette and moved it around to complete his look.

"That’s how we always do our makeup, and we’re done," Wade said while laughing.
"I have a pencil in my hand," Kaavia said. "I see you writing on my face."
The sports star then switched it up, saying: "I see you writing on my face," as he panned the camera to his daughter's face, showing off the makeup he applied.
Wade, still with his makeup applied, was able to remove it, as Kaavia added: "This is what you have to do sometimes, wipe your whole face off. Your nose [is] coming back. Might have to take a shower for your nose."

"Why are you so rough?" Wade then joked. "Because I have to get all the makeup off!" his daughter replied.
A photo was also uploaded to Wade's Instagram account, as the retired NBA player was holding still while Kaavia applied lipstick to his lips.
"I love being a girl dad," he wrote in the caption.
Some social media users flocked to the comment section to criticize Wade for letting his daughter give him a makeover, with one calling it 'emasculating'.

"Just pray for Dwyane Wade," another person penned.
However, many online were quick to defend Wade, with one penning: "Get over people this is what real loving dads do with their little girls."
A second added: "I'll wear a dress if it makes my daughters happy."
While a third remarked: "That’s a good dad… my son lets his three girls give him manicures and make-overs and so does my husband!!! Best dads and grandpas do."
