People convinced NFL pundit is half-naked due to trippy optical illusion

A NFL football analyst has stolen the limelight from the game after a picture of him shared on social media left people in stitches.

A NFL football analyst has stolen the limelight from the game after a picture of him shared on social media left people in stitches.

On Sunday (1 October), the Jacksonville Jaguars and Atlanta Falcons went head-to-head at Wembley Stadium in London, UK.

While the Jaguars smashed the competition, winning 23-7, their victory wasn't the only part of the game which ended up highly talked about online.

Former American football quarterback Dan Orlovsky was predicting what would happen in the game for ESPN.

The 40-year-old was active for an impressive 12 seasons of the NFL - playing for teams including the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams - making him the perfect man to analyse football for the channel.

However, while his commentary was definitely enthralling, viewers couldn't help but focus on something else in the recording.

News reports of the game focused on Calvin Ridley scoring against his former team, Darious Williams returning a 61-yard pick-six and Drake London's third-quarter touchdown, however, game viewers were much more interested with photographs of Orlovsky, posting them online.

In photographs of Orlovsky circulating on social media, the 40-year-old can be seen wearing headphones, a navy suit jacket, tie, shirt and well, at first glance, not much else.

Thankfully, if you take a closer look, you'll see the slight wrinkling on his legs and slight colour difference compares to Orlovsky's hands and face which indicates he is, in fact, wearing pants. *Wipes brow in relief*

And many viewers shared the same alarming experience too.

Viewers have since flooded to social media in stitches over the illusion, sharing screenshots from the recording to X - formerly known as Twitter.

One X user said: "I see London, I see France, I had to double check if Dan Orlovsky was wearing pants."

"Dan orlovsky looks like he’s not wearing pants with the color of his slacks looks like the bottom half of a Ken doll," another commented.

A third wrote: "Where's the desk Dan? Cover up will ya?"

And a final resolved: "Hot dogs or legs?"

Orlovsky even took to X to give clarity on the matter.

For anyone who's still confused on the matter and isn't sure whether Orlovsky actually dared to go full Winnie-the-Pooh while commenting on the game for ESPN, thankfully, the 40-year-old has taken to X to reassure viewers: "I did wear pants @JOEL9ONE."

Although, as one user responded: "Yep but still an arguable choice."
