Demi Demetriou, better known as one half of comedy dance duo Stavros Flatley, has been left devastated after the arrest of his son over a cannabis factory discovered in London.

Lagi appeared on Britain’s Got Talent with his father in 2009. Now 20, he is accused of running a cannabis-growing business of over 400 plants.

The discovery was made when neighbours living in the flat below what was believed to be Lagi’s reported a water leak. Fire fighters who attended the scene allegedly found a marijuana factory, with its water system causing the leak.

The 20-year-old’s family is distressed, according to his father, but they don’t believe Lagi is behind the crime.

Demi told The Mirror:

The family are so upset, not with Lagi, we know he has nothing to do with this, but with the accusations.

We are determined to prove his innocence.

Firefighters are thought to have discovered around 460 plants worth £56,000 at a house in Enfield, North London, according to reports.

Lagi was arrested when he came to the property.

The father/son duo reportedly own several flats in the area. Earlier reports that claimed the building was Lagi’s have now been dismissed.
